Postdoctoral researcher

OASYS Group

Universidad de Málaga

I am postdoctoral researcher at OASYS group, Department of Applied Mathematics at Universidad de Málaga.

In 2020, I got my PhD from the Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with the dissertation “Depth-based methods for Functional Data Analysis”. During my doctoral period, I had the pleasure to be a visiting researcher at Mox Laboratory of the Politecnico di Milano and at the College of Business and Economics of the Australian National University.

I strongly believe in the need to create bridges between theoretical statistical research and the great challenges of today's society. Currently, I am focused on developing open source methodologies to effectively take advantage of Smart Meter Devices to achieve more efficient, secure and sustainable energy systems.
